MLK I have a Dream...
This week was an Ah ha moment in the Pre-k class. It’s great to know that we as teachers and parents are teaching our young children with good values and morals. Our Ah ha moment came while Mrs. Burke’s class was studying about Martin Luther King Jr’s dream. The children made a rainbow of dreams and comments to go along with their dreams. Hers is what a few of the students said:
I have a Dream…
That we can all have good food and pray to God.
That everyone will always be nice.
That everyone will have food to eat.
That every kid has a playground at school.
That everyone will be Happy!
What a refreshing moment to be proud of what these 4 & 5 year old students our learning good values in today’s society where we questions all the things children are exposed too.
We hope everyone takes a moment to pray to God, be thankful for what they have and find happiness in their life.
